Women Build is a coalition of female-led teams that come together each year to sponsor and build an affordable home for a deserving woman and her family in our community. Together we raise the funds and the walls! Women Build relies on community members to be team captains, recruiting up to 10 members for their team. Each Women Build team raises funds and volunteers at the build site.

How Your Team Participates
Put together a team of 8-10 people (everyone is welcome).
Each team participant raises donations which go directly to the construction cost of the Women Build Home.
Collectively, each team raises $2,000.

Media Coverage Welcome
Habitat for Humanity Clark & Floyd Indiana welcomes members of the media to attend the 2026 Women Build event, taking place September 8-12, 2026, at Spring Hill Station in Jeffersonville. Media representatives are invited to interview volunteers, Habitat leadership, sponsors, and the future homeowner family throughout the week. Photo and video opportunities will be available during all phases of construction.
