Volunteering on a home build is the embodiment of our mission in action. Although building experience is appreciated, it is not necessary—our staff and core team are there to give direction and teach new skills. Assemble your organization, business, or church team. Bring a friend or simply bring yourself and be part of building community, with Habitat.

Volunteer Teams
Are you a business, club, faith or community organization interested in a group build day? Teams of up to 12 who raise $2,000 will earn a site build day (2 shifts). Complete the volunteer interest form below to discuss scheduling your volunteer team! Fundraising teams receive a custom campaign landing page!
Join the Core Team
Do you want to learn and teach skills? Core team members volunteer two or more half day shifts each month—as much as you want. Specific skills like caulking, installing flooring and trim, installing lighting, painting, etc. are desirable but not necessary. Construction Site Age Requirements
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to serve on an active construction site.
Volunteers ages 16 and 17 must have a signed parent or guardian waiver on file before volunteering. Youth volunteers may participate in many construction activities under the supervision of Habitat staff but may not operate power tools or work from ladders or scaffolding higher than six feet.
Volunteers who are 18 years of age or older may participate in all construction activities for which they have received appropriate training and supervision.
Habitat reserves the right to assign volunteers to tasks based on safety, experience, physical ability, and project needs.
